Since 2019, Thomas Noël works with Nordik Windows and Doors, the largest window and door replacement company in Ontario for the residential sector, including townhouses and condominium complexes 4 storeys or less. Thomas Noël sits on the Expert Advisory Council for Windows for the Ministry of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and advised on the launch of the $2.6 billion Canada Greener Homes Grant and the Home Efficiency Rebate Plus program in 2023.

Dr Thomas Noël, OD also works at Albert Opticians in Ottawa and offers complete eye exams, laser vision correction assessments, contact lenses, and more! Dr. Noël is presently a Board Director of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and a member of the Provincial Vision Task Force of Ontario. He was a Council member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and Vice President of the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

Dr. Thomas Noël graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Ottawa. He then pursued his studies at the University of Montreal School of Optometry and graduated with a Doctorate in Optometry. After graduation, Dr. Noël did an externship at the Syracuse Veteran Hospital Department of Ophthalmology in Syracuse, New York, in conjunction with the Eye Consultants of Syracuse. Dr. Noël moved back to his home town of Ottawa.

Dr. Noël was the president of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and Co-Chair of the Eye Health Council of Ontario (EHCO). Dr. Noël is the son of Dr. Leon-Paul Noël, who is also a well-known Pediatric Ophthalmologist. Dr. Noël Senior worked at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario for 20 years, before joining SUNY (State University of New York) as the program director of the Residency Program in Ophthalmology.
